What is CJC-1295 No DAC (Mod GRF 1-29)?

CJC-1295 without DAC, also called modified GRF(1-29), is GHRH(1-29) with four amino acid changes that protect it from enzymes. Its half-life is longer than sermorelin’s, though still short.

GHRH from the hypothalamus tells the pituitary to release growth hormone. Only its first 29 amino acids are needed for that.

What is Ipamorelin?

Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue developed by Novo Nordisk. It acts on the ghrelin receptor and releases GH selectively, with little effect on cortisol or prolactin.

Ipamorelin mimics ghrelin at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR-1a) in the pituitary and hypothalamus. Activating that receptor triggers a GH pulse.

Why researchers pair CJC-1295 No DAC and Ipamorelin

CJC-1295 No DAC is a GHRH analog and ipamorelin acts on the ghrelin receptor. Those are the two signals that control a growth hormone pulse, and studies since the 1990s show that hitting both gives a much bigger pulse than either alone.
