About Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue developed by Novo Nordisk. It acts on the ghrelin receptor and releases GH selectively, with little effect on cortisol or prolactin.

Ipamorelin mimics ghrelin at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR-1a) in the pituitary and hypothalamus. Activating that receptor triggers a GH pulse.

What is Tesamorelin?

Tesamorelin is the full 44-amino-acid GHRH with a trans-3-hexenoyl group added. It’s FDA-approved as Egrifta for reducing abdominal fat in HIV-associated lipodystrophy.

Tesamorelin binds the GHRH receptor and raises growth hormone and IGF-1. The hexenoyl group on the front end stops DPP-4 from cutting it, which makes it far more stable than natural GHRH.

Using Ipamorelin and Tesamorelin together

Tesamorelin is a stabilized form of full-length GHRH with the most human clinical data of any GHRH analog, and ipamorelin is a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist. Using them together covers both GH release signals. Tesamorelin is an approved drug for abdominal fat in HIV, so it’s the usual reference compound when visceral fat is part of the study.

Reconstituting the Ipamorelin and Tesamorelin bundle vials

Mix each vial on its own with sterile bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the glass and roll it until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
