Description

The peptide vial storage case is a zip-up, hard-shell organizer with ten fitted slots for standard research vials. It keeps a full set of vials upright, apart and protected, and it’s $9.99 at Blue Sky Peptide.

What the vial storage case is for

Loose vials roll around, knock into each other and get lost at the back of the fridge. A small glass vial with a cracked shoulder or a loose crimp cap is a vial you can’t trust anymore. This case gives each one its own pocket in a foam insert, so they stay upright and don’t touch.

Ten slots matches how most labs buy. It takes a full bundle, a buy-2-get-1 order with room to spare, or a mix of compounds you’re running in the same study.

Vial storage case features

  • Ten cut-out slots in a foam insert, sized for standard 2mL to 3mL peptide vials
  • Semi-rigid shell with a fabric cover and a full-length zip
  • Mesh pocket inside the lid for labels, a marker or a few alcohol swabs
  • Compact enough to sit on a fridge shelf or slide into a freezer drawer
  • Vials not included

Storing peptide vials the right way

Freeze-dried peptides keep best cold, dry and dark. Sealed vials go in the freezer at -20°C for long-term storage, or the fridge at 2 to 8°C for a few weeks. Once a vial is mixed, it belongs in the fridge and should be used within about four weeks. The case helps with all three: it blocks light, keeps vials from tipping, and lets you keep mixed and unmixed vials in separate rows.

A simple system works well. Put sealed vials on one side and mixed vials on the other, with the mixing date written on each label. When a row is empty, you know it’s time to reorder.

Which vials fit?

The slots are made for the standard flip-cap vials we ship, including BPC-157 5mg, Ipamorelin 2mg, Semaglutide 5mg and the blends. Our 30mL research liquid bottles are much taller and won’t fit; keep those upright on a shelf at room temperature.

Vial storage case or hard storage box?

Both hold ten vials. This case is lighter and has a zip and a mesh pocket, which makes it the better pick for the fridge and the bench. The Blue Sky hard storage box is a rugged, latched plastic box that takes knocks better, so it’s the one to choose for transport or a crowded shared freezer.

Keeping track of what you have

A case with fixed slots makes stock checks quick. Ten slots, ten vials: a glance tells you what’s left. Some labs put a strip of tape along the foam and write the compound under each slot, so a vial always goes back in the same place. Others keep one case per compound for longer studies.

The mesh pocket in the lid is the right size for a folded inventory sheet, a fine-tip marker and a few alcohol swabs. Keeping those with the vials saves trips across the lab and makes it more likely that every vial gets dated when it’s mixed.

Taking vials out of the cold

Glass vials straight from the freezer collect condensation, and wet labels smudge. If you can, take the whole case out, let it sit closed for a few minutes, then open it. Take out only the vial you need and put the case back in the cold quickly, so the rest don’t go through a warm cycle every time you work.

Vial storage case FAQ

Does it come with vials?

No. The case is sold empty.

Can it go in the freezer?

Yes. It’s sized for a freezer drawer or fridge shelf. Let it come up to room temperature before you open it to cut down on condensation.

Does it keep vials cold?

No. It’s an organizer, not an insulated cooler, so keep it in the fridge or freezer.

Is it in stock?

Yes, the vial storage case is in stock at $9.99.
