Description

Anastrozole liquid from Blue Sky Peptide is a 30mL glass dropper bottle of Anastrozole at 1mg/mL, 30mg in total. Anastrozole is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. This batch tested at 99.28% purity. It’s sold for laboratory research only.

Anastrozole at a glance

Anastrozole is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor from AstraZeneca, approved in the US in 1995 as Arimidex. It blocks the enzyme that turns androgens into estrogens.

It’s a triazole compound, and it binds aromatase reversibly. That sets it apart from exemestane, which disables the enzyme permanently. In the lab it’s a standard tool for cutting estrogen synthesis.

How Anastrozole works

Aromatase, also called CYP19A1, is the enzyme that makes estrogens. It converts testosterone to estradiol and androstenedione to estrone, in the ovaries, fat, brain and other tissues.

Anastrozole’s triazole ring binds the iron in the enzyme’s heme group and blocks the active site. Estrogen production drops sharply, while androgens that would have been converted build up.

Anastrozole research

The ATAC trial, published in The Lancet in 2002, compared anastrozole with tamoxifen after surgery in postmenopausal women with early breast cancer. Anastrozole gave longer disease-free survival and fewer side effects like blood clots.

The IBIS-II prevention trial, also in The Lancet (2014), reported about half as many breast cancers in high-risk postmenopausal women on anastrozole as on placebo.

How Anastrozole compares

Labs choosing Anastrozole liquid usually weigh it against a few close relatives. Anastrozole is a reversible nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor, while:

  • Letrozole is the most potent of the reversible aromatase inhibitors, also used in fertility research
  • Exemestane is a steroidal inhibitor that disables aromatase permanently
  • Tamoxifen blocks estrogen in breast tissue but acts like it in bone and the uterus
  • Clomiphene blocks estrogen feedback in the brain to raise LH and FSH
  • Raloxifene acts like estrogen in bone and blocks it in breast and uterine tissue

The first three stop estrogen from being made. The SERMs leave estrogen levels alone and change how the estrogen receptor responds in each tissue. See them all on our SERMs and aromatase inhibitors page.

Measuring Anastrozole liquid

The concentration is 1mg/mL, so the math is simple: every 1mL holds 1mg, and every 0.1mL holds 0.1mg. The whole 30mL bottle holds 30mg.

The dropper in the cap is fine for transferring liquid, but it isn’t marked finely enough for accurate measuring. For that, use a graduated 1mL measuring dropper, which reads in 0.1mL steps and costs $1.99.

Anastrozole liquid storage and shelf life

Keep Anastrozole liquid at room temperature with the cap tight, out of direct sunlight. It doesn’t need a fridge. Wipe the dropper tip before you put the cap back so nothing dries in the threads.

Lab-tested Anastrozole liquid

Our Anastrozole liquid batch measured 99.28% pure by HPLC with mass spectrometry confirming the identity. We print the real number, so you know what’s going into your experiment.

The label on each bottle shows the compound, the strength and the batch. Ask us for the certificate of analysis for your batch and we’ll email it over.

Keep the batch number with your records. It’s the quickest way to match a bottle to its paperwork later.

Anastrozole liquid questions

How much is in the Anastrozole liquid bottle?

30mL of solution at 1mg/mL, which is 30mg in total. The amount is printed on the label.

Is there a COA for Anastrozole liquid?

Yes. Each batch has a certificate of analysis filed under the batch number on the label. Email us that number and we’ll send it.

Is there a deal for buying more than one?

Yes. Choose Buy 2 Get 1 Free to get three bottles for the price shown in the dropdown.

Do you sell it in bulk?

Yes. Bulk packs of up to 200 bottles are in the quantity dropdown on this page, at a much lower price per bottle.
