Description
Letrozole liquid is Letrozole, a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor, supplied as a 30mL liquid at 2.5mg/mL (75mg per bottle). This batch tested at 99.88% purity. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
About Letrozole
Letrozole is a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor developed by Novartis and approved as Femara. Like anastrozole it’s a triazole that blocks the enzyme that makes estrogen, and it’s one of the most potent drugs in the class.
Besides breast cancer, it’s widely studied in fertility research, where lowering estrogen for a few days makes the pituitary release more FSH.
How Letrozole acts in the lab
Letrozole binds the heme iron in aromatase (CYP19A1) through its triazole ring and blocks the enzyme reversibly. Estrogen synthesis from androgens falls by well over 90% in studies of postmenopausal women.
Less estrogen means less negative feedback on the hypothalamus and pituitary, so GnRH, LH and FSH rise. That feedback loop is the basis for its use in ovulation and male hormone research.

What the research says about Letrozole
The BIG 1-98 trial, published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2005, found letrozole lowered the risk of breast cancer coming back compared with tamoxifen in postmenopausal women.
Legro and colleagues reported in the same journal in 2014 that letrozole led to more live births than clomiphene in women with polycystic ovary syndrome.

How Letrozole compares
Labs choosing Letrozole liquid usually weigh it against a few close relatives. Letrozole is the most potent of the reversible aromatase inhibitors, also used in fertility research, while:
- Anastrozole is a reversible nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor
- Exemestane is a steroidal inhibitor that disables aromatase permanently
- Tamoxifen blocks estrogen in breast tissue but acts like it in bone and the uterus
- Clomiphene blocks estrogen feedback in the brain to raise LH and FSH
- Raloxifene acts like estrogen in bone and blocks it in breast and uterine tissue
The first three stop estrogen from being made. The SERMs leave estrogen levels alone and change how the estrogen receptor responds in each tissue. See them all on our SERMs and aromatase inhibitors page.
Measuring Letrozole liquid
The concentration is 2.5mg/mL, so the math is simple: every 1mL holds 2.5mg, and every 0.1mL holds 0.25mg. The whole 30mL bottle holds 75mg.
Most labs measure with a 1mL measuring dropper marked in 0.1mL steps. The dropper built into the cap is handy for transfers but not precise enough for measuring.
Storing Letrozole liquid
Room temperature is fine for Letrozole liquid. Keep it upright, capped and out of the sun, and write the opening date on the label.
Lab-tested Letrozole liquid
The current batch of Letrozole liquid tested at 99.88% purity by mass spectrometry and UV (HPLC) analysis. That figure comes from the batch report, not a marketing estimate, and it’s the reason we list the exact number instead of rounding up.
The label on each bottle shows the compound, the strength and the batch. Ask us for the certificate of analysis for your batch and we’ll email it over.
Keep the batch number with your records. It’s the quickest way to match a bottle to its paperwork later.
Letrozole liquid quantity deals
Letrozole liquid comes in more than one quantity. Pick the option you want from the dropdown above the cart button:
- 1 bottle: $24.67
- Buy 2 get 1 free: 3 bottles for $49.34, about $16.45 a bottle
- Bulk 50 pack: 50 bottles for $747.50, about $14.95 a bottle

Common questions about Letrozole liquid
How much is in the Letrozole liquid bottle?
30mL of solution at 2.5mg/mL, which is 75mg in total. The amount is printed on the label.
Is there a COA for Letrozole liquid?
Yes. Each batch has a certificate of analysis filed under the batch number on the label. Email us that number and we’ll send it.
Is there a deal for buying more than one?
Yes. Choose Buy 2 Get 1 Free to get three bottles for the price shown in the dropdown.
Do you sell it in bulk?
Yes. Bulk packs of up to 200 bottles are in the quantity dropdown on this page, at a much lower price per bottle.
