Description
Raloxifene liquid is Raloxifene, a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), supplied as a 30mL liquid at 60mg/mL (1,800mg per bottle). This batch tested at 99.8% purity. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
What is Raloxifene?
Raloxifene is a second-generation SERM from Eli Lilly, approved in 1997 as Evista for osteoporosis after menopause. It’s a benzothiophene, a different chemical family from tamoxifen and clomiphene.
It acts like estrogen in bone but blocks estrogen in breast and uterine tissue, so it doesn’t thicken the uterine lining the way tamoxifen can.
Raloxifene mechanism of action
Raloxifene binds the estrogen receptor, and the shape of the bound receptor decides what happens next. In bone cells it recruits co-activators and slows bone breakdown, like estrogen does.
In breast and uterine cells the same binding recruits co-repressors, so estrogen-driven growth is blocked. That tissue-by-tissue switch is the defining trait of a SERM.

Published Raloxifene studies
The MORE trial, published in JAMA in 1999, found raloxifene lowered the risk of new vertebral fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, and also cut the rate of invasive breast cancer.
The STAR trial (JAMA, 2006) compared it head to head with tamoxifen for breast cancer prevention and found similar protection against invasive cancer, with fewer uterine cancers and blood clots.

Raloxifene compared with similar compounds
Here’s how Raloxifene liquid fits among related compounds. Raloxifene acts like estrogen in bone and blocks it in breast and uterine tissue. By comparison:
- Anastrozole is a reversible nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor
- Letrozole is the most potent of the reversible aromatase inhibitors, also used in fertility research
- Exemestane is a steroidal inhibitor that disables aromatase permanently
- Tamoxifen blocks estrogen in breast tissue but acts like it in bone and the uterus
- Clomiphene blocks estrogen feedback in the brain to raise LH and FSH
The first three stop estrogen from being made. The SERMs leave estrogen levels alone and change how the estrogen receptor responds in each tissue. See them all on our SERMs and aromatase inhibitors page.
Measuring Raloxifene liquid
The concentration is 60mg/mL, so the math is simple: every 1mL holds 60mg, and every 0.1mL holds 6mg. The whole 30mL bottle holds 1,800mg. Raloxifene liquid is a suspension, so shake the bottle well before every draw or the concentration won’t be even.
The dropper in the cap is fine for transferring liquid, but it isn’t marked finely enough for accurate measuring. For that, use a graduated 1mL measuring dropper, which reads in 0.1mL steps and costs $1.99.
Raloxifene liquid storage and shelf life
Keep Raloxifene liquid at room temperature with the cap tight, out of direct sunlight. It doesn’t need a fridge. Wipe the dropper tip before you put the cap back so nothing dries in the threads.
Lab-tested Raloxifene liquid
Our Raloxifene liquid batch measured 99.8% pure by HPLC with mass spectrometry confirming the identity. We print the real number, so you know what’s going into your experiment.
Note the batch number on the label when the bottle arrives. That’s what the certificate of analysis is filed under, and we’ll send you a copy on request.
Write the batch number in your lab notes when you open a new bottle. If you ever need to compare results between orders, that’s the detail you’ll want.
Raloxifene liquid prices and bulk options
Raloxifene liquid comes in more than one quantity. Pick the option you want from the dropdown above the cart button:
- 1 bottle: $32.47
- Bulk 50 pack: 50 bottles for $1,297.50, about $25.95 a bottle
- Bulk 100 pack: 100 bottles for $2,395.00, about $23.95 a bottle
- Bulk 300 pack: 300 bottles for $6,885.00, about $22.95 a bottle
Bulk packs are meant for labs and resellers running larger studies. Every bottle is sealed separately, so you only open what you need and keep the rest in storage. See all our bulk research liquids for other compounds sold this way.

Raloxifene liquid questions
How much is in the Raloxifene liquid bottle?
30mL of solution at 60mg/mL, which is 1,800mg in total. The amount is printed on the label.
Can Raloxifene be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
Is Raloxifene liquid in stock?
Yes, Raloxifene liquid is in stock now and ready to ship.
Is there a COA for Raloxifene liquid?
Yes. Each batch has a certificate of analysis filed under the batch number on the label. Email us that number and we’ll send it.
Does Raloxifene liquid need mixing?
No. It’s already a solution in a dropper bottle, so there’s no powder to reconstitute. It’s a suspension, so shake the bottle well before each draw.
