Description

The BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg vial from Blue Sky Peptide holds 2mg/2mg of BPC-157 and TB-500, freeze-dried together in one vial. This batch tested at 99.89% purity. It’s for laboratory research only.

What’s in the BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg?

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.

TB-500 here means thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell in the body, with high levels in platelets and white blood cells. Inside the cell it binds actin, the protein cells use to change shape and move.

BPC-157 and TB-500 are the two most studied repair peptides, and they work through different routes: BPC-157 through blood vessel growth and nitric oxide signaling, TB-500 through actin and cell movement.

The ratio is fixed at 2mg/2mg, so every draw from the vial has the same proportions. That’s the main reason labs buy a blend: one reconstitution, one label, no drift between separate vials.

How the BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg works

Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.

Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the single building blocks of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.

What the research says about BPC-157 and TB-500

Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.

Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that BPC-157 raised growth hormone receptor expression in rat tendon fibroblasts. Controlled human data are very limited.

Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.

Bock-Marquette and colleagues reported in Nature (2004) that thymosin beta-4 improved heart cell survival after injury in mice.

Reconstituting BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg

Here’s the math for 4mg of peptide:

  • 1mL of water gives 4mg/mL
  • 2mL of water gives 2mg/mL
  • 3mL of water gives 1.33mg/mL

Pick the volume that keeps your own calculations simple, then write the concentration and the mixing date on the label.

Use sterile bacteriostatic water. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature first so no condensation gets in, add the water slowly along the glass wall, and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake it.

How to store BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg

The dry powder keeps best cold. A freezer at -20°C is ideal for long-term storage, and a fridge works for a few weeks. After reconstitution, store it in the fridge and finish it within roughly four weeks.

A 10-slot vial case keeps open and sealed vials upright and apart, which makes the fridge shelf a lot easier to manage. For transport, the Blue Sky hard storage box is the sturdier option.

BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg purity and testing

The current batch of BPC-157 TB-500 blend 2mg/2mg tested at 99.89% purity by mass spectrometry and UV (HPLC) analysis. That figure comes from the batch report, not a marketing estimate, and it’s the reason we list the exact number instead of rounding up.

Note the batch number on the label when the vial arrives. That’s what the certificate of analysis is filed under, and we’ll send you a copy on request.

Keep the batch number with your records. It’s the quickest way to match a vial to its paperwork later.
