Description

GLOW blend 70mg puts 70mg of GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 combined into one sealed vial, so you reconstitute once instead of three times. This batch tested at 99.83% purity. It’s for laboratory research only.

What the GLOW blend 70mg contains

GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.

TB-500 here means thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every cell in the body, with high levels in platelets and white blood cells. Inside the cell it binds actin, the protein cells use to change shape and move.

GLOW combines the copper peptide GHK-Cu with the two main repair peptides, aimed at skin and wound models.

GLOW is made as 50mg GHK-Cu, 10mg BPC-157 and 10mg TB-500, which adds up to the 70mg on the label. Because everything is freeze-dried together, the ratio can’t drift the way it can when you mix separate vials.

Mechanisms behind the GLOW blend 70mg

GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.

Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.

Thymosin beta-4’s main job is holding on to G-actin, the single building blocks of the cell’s internal scaffolding. By controlling how much actin is free to polymerize, it controls how cells move and change shape.

What the research says about GLOW blend

Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.

Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers.

Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.

Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that BPC-157 raised growth hormone receptor expression in rat tendon fibroblasts. Controlled human data are very limited.

Goldstein and colleagues reviewed thymosin beta-4’s role in wound repair in 2012, covering faster closure of skin wounds and new blood vessel growth in animal models.

Bock-Marquette and colleagues reported in Nature (2004) that thymosin beta-4 improved heart cell survival after injury in mice.

GLOW blend 70mg reconstitution and concentration

Here’s the math for 70mg of peptide:

  • 2mL of water gives 35mg/mL
  • 3mL of water gives 23.33mg/mL
  • 5mL of water gives 14mg/mL

Choose the volume that suits your measurements. Mark the vial with the concentration and date so nobody has to guess later.

Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the inside of the glass, then roll the vial gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it. Shaking can shear peptide chains.

Storing GLOW blend 70mg

Store sealed vials of GLOW blend 70mg in the freezer (-20°C) or the fridge (2 to 8°C), out of direct light. Mixed solution goes back in the fridge and should be used within about 28 days.

A 10-slot vial case keeps open and sealed vials upright and apart, which makes the fridge shelf a lot easier to manage. For transport, the Blue Sky hard storage box is the sturdier option.

Lab-tested GLOW blend 70mg

The current batch of GLOW blend 70mg tested at 99.83% purity by mass spectrometry and UV (HPLC) analysis. That figure comes from the batch report, not a marketing estimate, and it’s the reason we list the exact number instead of rounding up.

Every vial is labeled with the compound, the amount and the batch. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, email us the batch number from the label and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for it.

Write the batch number in your lab notes when you open a new vial. If you ever need to compare results between orders, that’s the detail you’ll want.
