Description
Our YK-11 liquid comes as 30mL of ready-made solution at 10mg/mL, so each bottle holds 300mg of YK-11, a steroidal androgen receptor partial agonist. This batch tested at 98.65% purity. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
About YK-11
YK-11 is a steroidal compound built on a dihydrotestosterone backbone, first described by Japanese researchers in 2011. It’s usually sold next to SARMs, but it’s a steroid and only a partial agonist at the androgen receptor.
Its reported trait is raising follistatin in muscle cells, which ties it to myostatin research.
How YK-11 works
YK-11 binds the androgen receptor but doesn’t trigger the full shape change that DHT does, so it activates only part of the usual gene program. That’s why it’s called a partial agonist.
In muscle cells it raised follistatin, a protein that blocks myostatin, the signal that limits muscle growth. When the researchers blocked follistatin, YK-11’s effect on muscle cell differentiation went away.

Published YK-11 studies
Kanno and colleagues showed in Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin in 2013 that YK-11 drove muscle cell differentiation in C2C12 myoblasts more strongly than DHT and raised follistatin expression.
A 2018 study reported effects on bone-forming osteoblast cells as well. There are no human trials.

How YK-11 compares
Labs choosing YK-11 liquid usually weigh it against a few close relatives. YK-11 is a steroidal partial agonist that raises follistatin in muscle cells, while:
- MK-2866 is the most studied SARM, with a phase 2 trial in cancer-related muscle loss
- LGD-4033 binds the androgen receptor very tightly and has a published phase 1 study
- RAD-140 showed strong muscle selectivity in monkeys and was trialed in breast cancer
- S4 Andarine is a partial androgen receptor agonist, one of the first SARMs from GTx
- MK-677 is an oral ghrelin mimic that raises GH and IGF-1, not a SARM
- GW501516 is a PPAR-delta agonist that shifts muscle toward burning fat, not a SARM
Only the first five act on the androgen receptor. MK-677 and GW501516 are sold alongside SARMs because they’re studied for body composition too, but they work through different receptors. See them all on our SARMs page.
Measuring YK-11 liquid
The concentration is 10mg/mL, so the math is simple: every 1mL holds 10mg, and every 0.1mL holds 1mg. The whole 30mL bottle holds 300mg.
The dropper in the cap is fine for transferring liquid, but it isn’t marked finely enough for accurate measuring. For that, use a graduated 1mL measuring dropper, which reads in 0.1mL steps and costs $1.99.
YK-11 liquid storage and shelf life
Keep YK-11 liquid at room temperature with the cap tight, out of direct sunlight. It doesn’t need a fridge. Wipe the dropper tip before you put the cap back so nothing dries in the threads.
YK-11 liquid quality and batch records
Our YK-11 liquid batch measured 98.65% pure by HPLC with mass spectrometry confirming the identity. We print the real number, so you know what’s going into your experiment.
Note the batch number on the label when the bottle arrives. That’s what the certificate of analysis is filed under, and we’ll send you a copy on request.
If a result looks off, check the batch number first, then your handling notes. Most problems with YK-11 come from storage or mixing, not the material.

YK-11 liquid questions
How much is in the YK-11 liquid bottle?
30mL of solution at 10mg/mL, which is 300mg in total. The amount is printed on the label.
Does YK-11 liquid need mixing?
No. It’s already a solution in a dropper bottle, so there’s no powder to reconstitute.
How should I store it?
At room temperature, out of direct sunlight, with the cap screwed on tight. It doesn’t need a fridge.
Can YK-11 be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
Is YK-11 liquid in stock?
Yes, YK-11 liquid is in stock now and ready to ship.
