Blue Sky Peptide CJC-1295: DAC vs No DAC

Blue Sky Peptide CJC-1295 comes two ways: No DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) and DAC, both in 2mg vials, plus four blends and three bundles. This guide explains the difference, what the half-life studies found and what each option costs.

What is Blue Sky Peptide CJC-1295?

CJC-1295 is a modified form of GRF(1-29), the active first 29 amino acids of growth hormone releasing hormone. Four amino acids are swapped to make it resist breakdown by enzymes. It was developed by the Canadian company ConjuChem.

CJC-1295 No DAC 2mg is that modified peptide on its own, often called Mod GRF 1-29. It tested at 99.18%. CJC-1295 DAC 2mg adds a Drug Affinity Complex, and tested at 99.67%.

DAC vs No DAC: the half-life difference

The DAC is a lysine linker that bonds to albumin once the peptide is in the blood. In 2006, Teichman and colleagues reported in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism that CJC-1295 with DAC had a half-life of about 6 to 8 days, and raised growth hormone levels for six days or more after one injection. Without DAC, the half-life is closer to 30 minutes, which gives a short pulse instead. Read the trial through this PubMed search for CJC-1295.
