Blue Sky Peptide Tesamorelin: the GHRH analog explained

Blue Sky Peptide Tesamorelin comes as a 5mg vial at 99.91% purity, one of the highest figures in our range. Here is what tesamorelin is, what the clinical research found, how it compares with sermorelin and CJC-1295, and how to buy it.

What is Blue Sky Peptide Tesamorelin?

Tesamorelin is a 44-amino-acid analog of growth hormone releasing hormone. It carries a trans-3-hexenoyl group on its first amino acid, which helps it resist the enzymes that break down natural GHRH. It acts on the GHRH receptor in the pituitary, so the body’s own growth hormone pulses get larger instead of being replaced.

Developed by the Canadian company Theratechnologies, it was approved by the FDA in 2010 as Egrifta, to reduce excess abdominal fat in people with HIV-associated lipodystrophy. Our vial is research material, not the medicine.

Bought one at a time, those ten vials would cost $444.95, so the bundle saves $87.48.

What the tesamorelin research found

The best-known trial is Falutz and colleagues in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2007. Over 26 weeks, tesamorelin cut visceral fat by about 15% compared with placebo in HIV patients with abdominal fat gain, while IGF-1 levels rose. Later studies looked at liver fat and cognition. Tesamorelin vs sermorelin and CJC-1295

All of these act on the GHRH receptor. Sermorelin is the plain first 29 amino acids of GHRH, with a short half-life. CJC-1295 No DAC is a stabilized version of the same 29, and CJC-1295 DAC adds an albumin-binding linker for a week-long half-life. Blue Sky Peptide Tesamorelin keeps the full 44-amino-acid chain and is the only one of the group with an approved medical use. Our Blue Sky Peptide CJC-1295 guide covers the DAC question in detail.

Why labs study tesamorelin

Tesamorelin is one of the few GHRH analogs with long-term human trial data, so it’s a useful reference compound. Labs use it to look at how a stronger natural growth hormone pulse affects fat stores, IGF-1 and liver fat, and to compare it with shorter-acting analogs like sermorelin. Because it works through the body’s own feedback loop, the growth hormone it triggers still rises and falls in pulses.

Reconstituting Blue Sky Peptide Tesamorelin

Add a sterile diluent slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently. A 5mg vial with 2mL gives 2.5mg/mL. Keep the mixed vial in the fridge and use it within about 28 days.
